Google smartens Android's voice search

Google Inc has reportedly retrained voice search in Android in order to let users call family and friends by saying aloud their pet names.
Callers can now call their loved ones on the basis of the relationship shared by the person. "Following the tweak, instead of taking their actual names, one just needs to say "call dad" or "call mom" when calling a parent," Verge reported.
The alteration comes in the wake of Google's broader strategy of offering utility in exchange for information, which requires the user to update his contacts to include their relationship to the person in order to make the system work.
